My FMIL wanted to know if there are any rules or etiquette type things regarding her picking out her dress. I know already that the MOB should have her color picked out first. My mom already has her dress so thats not a problem. My FMIL wanted to know if since my mom has a long dress does my FMIL need to get a short dress so it's different? Thanks!!

I agree. Length does matter just let her know if you have any particular colors you want or don't want.

I was told the if MOB wears a long dress then the MOG needs to wear a long dress too
