MOG Escort
Is it appropriate for the groom to walk his mother down the isle prior to the ceremony? My FMIL wants to be waled down by my FH, but I'm not sure that it's possible. Isn't he supposed to up front when the mothers walk in?

Yes, FH is supposed to be upfront, FMIL is being escorted by her grandson, FH's godson, as his dad passed in 06, is there another son or someone she's close to that can walk her down the aisle?
I havent seen this.. the groom usually waits at the the alter.. usually his father will walk down, if they are divorced, his brother, her brother or and uncle or someone else will walk her down during the procession
I think he should be up front. Is there another son, brother, etc that could do it?
There is a son in law, but when she found out the my brother was walking my mom down the isle (neither of us have living fathers) she decided she wanted her son to do the same. I didn't really think about it at the time, but my MOH brought up that it wasn't something that is done. Now what do I say to her?
I wouldnt say anyhting to her.. have FH talk to her and let her know that he is supposed to be waiting for you up at the aisle or alter and try to find someone else to do walk her down
