How did all of you ask your maid/matron of honors to be in your bridal party? I'm looking for creative ideas....

i just asked them. nothing creative. I have a maid and matron.

Actually my matron lives in FL and when FI and i were visiting her and her hubby (who is the best man) they didnt know we were engaged. we wanted to surprise them. So when she was laying on the couch and had her head on my shoulder she saw the ring and started screaming.

We were in such a scream fest, i just said to her 'I have something special I want to ask you' she had no idea i was going to ask her to be my matron. She had no idea i was even going to ask her to be in the wedding. she held my hand 'I would be truely honored to have you as my matron of honor'

she cried.

My maid is my best friend of 10 years. She knew she would be my maid of honor.
