MOH and BM dresses POL

How many of you girls are having your MOH dress differ from you BM's? Mine are all the same, but I am starting to wonder if I should have changed it a little.

my MOH's dress is slight different but same type of shape and all just the top is a bit different and it is a different designer. We didnt plan it that way but when everybody was deciding on dresses, she liked that one best and all the girls liked the other dress best, so to resolve the problem i just said OK since youre the MOH and the only one who is wants this one more then just wear that one lol. Same colors though

all of my girls have the same color but the two moh's are going to have different colors

we just reversed the colors for our MOH.

our BMs were in pink with champagne sashes, and our MOH was in champagne with a pink sash.

i've seen a ton where the MOH wears the same dress... i think it looks great either way!

all of their dresses are the same - ill have to figure out how to attach the photo of the dress its a Bill Levkoff - Style#859 in Celadon with Champagne or Ivory accents (unsure still) - they are the same but MOH has different flowers and larger BoQ

All the girl's dresses were the same but my MOH (who was my sister) had her bouquet a little different. Everyone else had roses and hydrangeas but she had orchids too. It was subtle but nice. You should be the one who stands out in the pics and if you put your MOH in a different dress than you run the risk of losing that.

Hmm, I have not decided on this yet, maybe a different style of the same fabric/color.

I am actually doing the MOH and two other girls in the same dress then two others in another. MOH has different flowers. I really wanted to do MOH in one dress and the girls in another but two of them loved her dress so I let them them pick it too and just changing her flowers!

All of my girls have different dresses, but the MOH has a little white in hers. I like the idea of the MOH having a dress thats a little different.

My MOH has a different dress than the BM. The BM's are having strapless and the MOH has straps.

I am having all 3 of my girls in the same dress but 3 different colors....or should i say shades...brown, taupe and camel.

I only had two, and I picked the color/fabric/designer, and they picked the style of dress, so each of them had a different dress, just the same fabric.
Even if I'd had more than two, I would have done the same thing. I'm not a fan of the matchy-matchy dresses - bridesmaids are people, not manicans, and they have different bodies and personalities - that should be able to shine through. I didn't want a whole bunch of clones in my pictures, I wanted my friends!

And trust me, nobody will 'overshadow' you. You'll be the one in the big white dress - it's hard to miss.

All of my girls are having a different style dress, yet same material and lenght. They are all different shapes and ages; it would not have worked for all of them if I would have chosen the same style. So, I decided to let them choose their own style as long as it was not similar to my dress. My BM's loved that!!! Besides, their dresses are black so it doesn't look bad at all. I think that it will make more of a difference if they had different styles in a lighter color. In my case one BM is prego and 25, the other BM is 37, my matron of honor is 44, and my maid of honor (my daughter) is eleven
