MOH and BP

My wedding is in 20 weeks (yes i just figiured it out).

My MOH has not been available much to me, and hasn't helped me with anything yet. This past week my FMIL started asking about the shower, and I spoke to the MOH who said she has company in for the next two weekends and will take care of it later.

Am I being a little selfish wishing she would be more interested?

Edited to say - I don't the BP as a whole are that interested......but I know thats why I am lucky I have you

Re: MOH and BP

No way..

I printed out a list of what their duties are...

I am the biggest ***** and I told her.. I Want you whenever I need you.. Its MY wedding..

Some people I think either don't take it serious or don't understand how impt it is to you..

Tell her how you feel!

Re: MOH and BP

Uhm I would ask her exactly what she will take care of later. If she means sending invites securing a place that may be a problem as you dont' want those done last minute. If she is busy she should ask the bridal party to help. I had to tell my MOH that b/c she was running around doing everything and I told her my bridal party is entirely too big for her to be doing everything. She said she did not know. She thought as the MOH she had to do everything.

Re: MOH and BP

Your wedding is in 5 months so your MOH and BMs have time to put together a bridal shower for you.Usually that could be anywhere from 1-3 months before the wedding. The holidays just passed and everyone gets really busy.Perhaps your BMs have to start something going and get the ball rolling. Some people need a little nudge.

Re: MOH and BP

Firstly, I do not think you are being selfish.

Keep in mind you do have 5 months before your wedding so don't stress.

Hopefully she will come around. The holidays and the month following is a busy time for some people.
