MOH Question

MOH Question

Last month, I asked my childhood best friend to be my matron of honor. I also asked another very close friend to be my BM. My BM knows that I hve already chosen a matron of honor.

But...the more I think of it, the more I want to have both of these friends as my Matron & Maid of Honor. They have both been there through thick and thin with me and I value both of their friendships so so so much.

Do you think it's too late to ask her to be me MOH? How would you ask a BM to be your MOH over a month after asking your other MOH?

Or should I just leave things as is.....?

Re: MOH Question

I think it's okay to have 2. My FH has two best men...

Make sure it's okay with your other MOH...you want to make sure you don't offend her. FH told his one BFF that he didn't want to have to pick him over the other and they understood that -so they are both Best Men...give that a shot...

I think your BM will be honored that you have reconsidered and are giving her 'a promotion' as it were. I'd be honored for that to happen to me at least :)

Re: MOH Question

I think it would be ok to have two MoH as long as you explain to the first one that they will be sharing the honor.

I have seen wedding parties that have two BM or two MoH in them.

i think u should ask her and be like listen i kno i asked you to be a bm but i really feel that you are a moh to me...or something sweet...be like id rather have you have a higher title...or someting like that

i think she will like that

Re: MOH Question

Just telll her how you feel....its an honor and a huge compliment...but I would make sure to explain to your other MOH first so she dosent feel like shes being replaced or not doing good enough etc....just to make sure there are no hurt feelings

YES I WILL BE YOUR MOH!!!

But really, I think if you explain it to her the way you did here, it wont seem like an afterthought.

Re: MOH Question

wait, if i am reading this correctly, she already knows you've only chose a matron of honor, so just tell her you've decided shes the best fit to be you maid of honor~she will be happy even if it's a month later

Re: MOH Question

i have both a maid and matron of honor because i was in the same situation. I always knew who my MOH would be cause we have been friends for so long.. but when i met FHs cousin we became sooo close, and have been through so much together that i knew i wanted her to be my matron of honor!!

i don't think it's to late to ask at all.. i think she will still feel honored especially if you explain to her how u feel

Re: MOH Question

of course its ok
one is a matron and one is maid
but even if that werent the case- you can do what you want
just like people have 2 ring bearers
you decide

exactly.. my cousins are 5 girls and 3 boys in the family.. and so far each sister that has gotten married has had either a maid and matron or 2 maids.. one being a sister and one being a close friend because they couldn't decide and loved them both. it's your day ..your way

wow that sounds like a cheesy mcdonald's ad or something..lmao

Re: MOH Question

i have a maid and a matron. I think that if it is important to you then you should just ask her. i don't see anything with that
