Does anyone else feel like planning their wedding has been rough on many of thier relationships?
I mean i thought this was supposed to be a fun process. Instead it's been alot of tears and dissapointment.

totally agree. i resolved it by not talking about it with the ones that stressed me out. anytime someone asks i say, 'oh its going great great!!!' fart noise, if you stress me out, i just stop sharing details with you, lol.

Yeah everyone does have opinions, and I've heard it only gets worse when you have kids!

Oh it does I have 2 kids and you think after the first it would get easier nope the unwanted advice rolls in like the rain!

Sorry you're not having fun! I get a little sad every once in a while because my older sister isn't here to help plan my wedding (she lives in NC) and we did everything together for her wedding.

My parents and I are on Round 13 of a prizefight about kids at the wedding.
I'm about to throw in the towel just so I don't permanently damage some relationships that are very important to me. And I'm the kind of lady who likes to dig her heels in, so it's not going to be pleasant for me.
But at the same time, I also don't want to spend any more of my engagement fighting with my family. That's not what I want to remember.
I guess the point of the post, since I got all carried away talking about myself, is that it happens in every family. Just make sure you don't say anything you'll want to take back later. And remember they love you. People just sometimes can't see when they're wrong.
