MOH troubles?

MOH troubles?

Has anyone had problems with their MOH? Mine made a big deal about going to look at dresses for me, then for the bridesmaids she liked nothing and was not happy with my choice even though we picked the dress to accomodate her body type.

She did not help my mom with the shower, didn't even return her phone calls until I said something to her... but now she is pissed that I have stuffed most of my invites without her and she wanted to help. So I said 'So many MOH duties you didn't care to participate in and now you are bent out of shape for me stuffing the invites without you?' And she's not speaking to me!

Am I wrong here?

you are definitely NOT wrong! If she didn't seem into the wedding before than you had every reason not to ask her for help w/ the invites. I'm sorry that you guys are arguing!

I too was having MOH troubles, so much so that she's no longer part of / attending the wedding. Breaks my heart! It's unfortunate to see how people that you've thought were in your corner - really aren't.

Yup, people's true colors come out. Talk to her heart to heart, see hwat hppens take it from there. But if your gut tells you to dump her then do so. I'm sure you have read all the stories of what some people go thru. I have seen 2 GF go thru this with one of their BM's, neither of them are still friends with the trouble BM. But yet they are in all the pics. Good Luck, hope it works out for the best.

PS-see if there is something else bothering her, I currently have a GF that is jealous of my wedding, she is uninvited and had to tell her last week.

NO you are definitely not wrong. And you were right in saying that to her. If she wants to help then she needs to act like she does!

Im so sorry for you. Women tend to get jealous and throw attitudes when it comes to other people's weddings. It shouldnt be that way, and I would sit her down and ask her if she still wants in. I hope it works out for you..

I know she has always been jealous of the relationship - she didnt speak to me for a week after we got engaged then she wrote me a card telling me that she feels like she's losing me to him.. and i can understand that as we used to be inseperable.. but people grow up and start their own lives all the time.... I think the fact that her BF broke up with her a few weeks ago is a big part of her attitude but she won't talk to anyone about it. She just keeps saying leave me alone i'll get over.... But thne she gets these little attitudes like she did tonight.

Re: MOH troubles?

You are perfectly right to have said something.

I had a problem with him and actually a little over a month before my wedding, we had a disagreement about her bf coming. She said she won't be there if he can't come, I said ok. Then I had one of my bestfriends from high school do it and she was amazing! She was soo excited and helped so much!
