Mohegan or Foxwoods?

So our original Mini-Moon fell through so FH and I are trying to decide on someplace else to go after the wedding for a few days.

It's probably just going to be an overnight thing since I am only planning on taking off Monday and Tuesday after the wedding and then going back on Wednesday. I figured either Foxwoods or Mohegan. I would say AC too but I am going there on April 9th with my fam for the 'old folk' b-party so I want to go somewhere different.

I have never been to either of these places so which one would you girls suggest and why? I know Mohegan is pretty much just the one place so if your choice is Foxwoods, where would you stay? I was looking into the MGM but I'm open to other suggestions.

We will probably do dinner the first night we are there, some gambling, and then the next day breakfast in the morning, maybe some shopping and then head home.

Mohegan is slightly closer, its newer and really nice. The layout is also better and they have a few more better restaurants. However, I think its smaller therefore less to do but if your going for just a night then its fine.

Foxwoods is closer to Mystic which is nice so if you feel like getting out of the casino, going to Mystic is really nice. Cute town and really nice aquarium. I find foxwoods to be very confusing with the layout & older and I don't really like my eating options. However, the new MGM is really nice, but its small, more upscale shops and two restaurants.

IT is big so theres options but the MGM Grand is amazing!!!! So much fun and so nice, we always stay there and get comped alot!!!!!
