Mom and the wedding....

My mother is awesome. She is helpful and amazing and only puts her input in if she really feels we need it. She is an awesome person and more like a best friend than a mom right now.

Perfect! She's super excited and willing to help with anything I ask, but at the same time isn't overbearing and knows when to let us make the decisions.

She really has been great and hasn't given me too much grief. She basically tells me to do whatever I want..........

Ugh! I feel totally bad for my mom. Right when I was getting into the swing of planning everything my mom had to have surgery. She wasn't able to help, and when she wasn't feeling good she really was only focused on herself, so I quietly did a lot of stuff on my own, with FH of course, and now that she's almost fully better she's ready to do stuff and mostly everything is done! I feel really bad. We do still have to do the flowers next month, but at least that's something for her to look forward to. I got so used to running everything by my FMIL that we became really into it, and she's been more involved with every detail b/c of it. I think my mother is going to realize this soon and get jealous, b/c that's the type of person she is.

I feel like I'm writing a book now. I guess I'm just venting!!! I'm hoping my mom starts to feel more involved. I'm her only daughter and I know she's so excited! I have one brother and when he got married she wasn't really included, so I hope everything works out!
