Mom found her dress!!!

We went to about 5 different stores on saturday with FMIL (who also found her gown, but I cant find pics of it) We went to Estelles, Sugarplum, Macys, and Bridal Reflections, and Bloomies. Sugarplum was a horror show lol it was sooooo packed with people and the service was just so bad. We kept telling them exactly the type of dresses my mom wanted to see, and they kept bringing out the total opposite of what she was asking for. Then they kept wandering away, so we just left.
Yesterday we went to My Daughters Wedding in Great Neck. The BEST place out of them all. They gave my mom their full attention, had her try on the ones she was asking for. Gave very honest opinions and had tons to choose from ranging in all prices..so this is what she ended up with!!!
She ordered it in Copper

very nice. i tried to get my mom up to that store, but she doesn't want to travel to great neck! oh well...at least you got a dress!

Can't wait. We are going next weekend to that store as well. It has been so hard to find a dress for my mom. I HATE sugarplum. I left there as well. LOL

My mom is plus size, so it was hard for her to try on alot of them. but MDW really accomodated her and had dresses in all sizes to try on. She was almost in tears on saturday b/c she wasnt able to try on anything, so she couldnt get a feel for any of the dresses..

My mom is a size 18 so all the dresses that she had to try on were like a 12 and she just started getting to fustrated with trying on dresses that she couldn't get an idea of how they looked because they were way to small.

Do you have there address and telephone number and if you recommend anyone? Do I need to make an appointment?
