Mom- I was the wedding planner.
I truly enjoyed planning every detail of my daughter's wedding on Sat., Aug. 7,2010! I'd like to share some experiences with any others who are planning a wedding.
We chose the Venetian Yacht Club for its setting on the water. The ceremony was outdoors on a picture perfect day. The person I worked continuously with was their sales rep. Daisy. She was invaluable to me and held my hand every step of the way. The food, staff and ambiance was terrific. Our Maitre d was Michael and he fixed each tiny little detail that I needed done, including arranging the flowers on the cake!! Well done Michael. Rolling Pin Bakery - cake was fantastic.
Our photographer was Lou, owner of Celestial Photo and he did just what my daughter asked. Was low key, did much on his own and no one was disturbed or annoyed by 'picture taking time.'Ditto the videographer from Celestial.
The florist, *****************, were amazing. Beautiful and plentiful both at the ceremony and the reception. Gardenias floating at the cocktail hour filled the room with their scent.The girls bouquets lasted for several days!
We highly recommend them to everyone. Our band was The Cara Band of East Islip and they were great. They are well known on their own and need no help from me.
For all printing,invites, menu, program, wine bottle tags, I used ONLY YOU in Islip. Melinda, the owner, is a perfectionist and was extremely good at what she does! Would not recommend All County Limo- driver was not helpful,disinterested bordered on nasty!
Men's Wearhouse for the guys, on time & helpful.
A day that will be remembered as a joy for life!
