she has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and is in the middle of a very bad flare up of it. She was trying to hide it from me till after the wedding but the dr told her she had no choice but to go to the ER 2 days ago.

My dad has colitis (kinda similar). We don't speak any more...but when I was younger he had to go into the hospital all the time. It is very scary. I know what you are going through

My brother has Crohns Disease ... he has suffered with it from the time he was a teenager. It can be very difficult to deal with , but he manages it rather well. He is a physican himself and has done a lot of research on the disease, as well as raising awareness of it, etc.
If you need any support or info, feel free to FM me! Your mom will be fine, but I know how tough it is to think about right now!!
