Good morning, Moms!!!! Well, it's time to get out the long johns!! Mercy, it's cold in Lancaster County, today!!!!!!!!! Minniesmom, where are ya? Haven't seen ya post for awhile. Would love to hear how you're doing!! How's all the wedding plans going? Where are all of you spending Thanksgiving? I'm cooking. Since I didn't want my turkey flying through the kitchen window, like on the Jennie-o commercial, I bought just a small turkey breast and two drumsticks. My stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and spiced apples, are compliments of Country Crock. I plan to get a Bird-in-Hand pumpkin pie. By the way, you know that commercial about the yearly green bean casserole? Well, Campbells has a green bean casserole in your Wal-Mart freezer! Toodles!!! Mary

Well I have a 19 1/2 lb turkey to cook thanksgiving. I make my own stuffing, candied yams, carrots, stringbeans, stuffed mushrooms, fried artichoke hearts, etc. Oh I forgot I'm making homemade minestrone soup too. As for that green bean casserole we DON'T like it and if I told you what I think it looks like you would be mad at me. I already started cooking Sunday - I have my candied yams in the pan ready to go into the oven. I'll get the artichokes fried the night before along with cutting my veggies for my stuffing. I'll make the turkey, soup and carrots on Thursday. My sister in law is baking the stringbeans and stuffed mushrooms and an apple pie. My son, Michael, and I made pumpkin cookies yesterday. So I'm on my way to a good dinner. I cant wait because I just love the holidays even with all the work.
