I got home yesterday after work and I was getting ready to take me sister to see X-men III when my mom was talking to her friend in the kitchen saying 'yeah I can't go July 8 cause that is Kerri's bridal shower' I looked up and said MOM and shelooked at me and was just in shock. I felt so bad cause my mom got so upset. I was like don't worry cause I don't know where the place is so don't tell your friend that right now. I am a little disappointed but I will get over it quickly.

I'm sorry you found out!!! But you are right, you don't know where it is or all of the little details. My FMIL has a big mouth and spilled the beans on both my showers but I'm trying to look at the positives - all the work my girls are doing and all of the women who will be traveling far distances to share my special day!!!

Sorry you found out, but at least now you can prepare a nice outfit, etc for the big event! Besides, you don't know what you're getting or who was invited! There's still surprises around.

awwww, i inadvertantly found out about my shower too. i came home in the middle of the day and my dad had left the contract for the hall on the dining table thinking i would be at work all day. i read it and dropped it back down as soon as i realized what it was. i still acted surprised tho, i didnt want to hurt their feelings.

lol.....I thought the same thing you girls said about a nice outfit!! I will definitly act surprise since I know how hard all my girls are working and I don't want to spoil that.

ugh! thats the worst!! my friend is getting married in september, and her shower is on june 25 on me and dhs first anniversary. so anyway, one of our guy friends says to her ' yeah, your shower is on luke and missys anniversary', shes like ' i was at the wedding, i remember when their anniversary is!' LOL BOYS! so now she knows, but she can't tell her mom, because her mom would be heartbroken if its not a surprise! just so funny how things slip out...
