Ok so my parents are in town till June 20th. They have been here for 4 HOURS already and my mom has already mentioned THREE times how she is not happy that I am getting married @ the hall and not in a church.
THEN she says to me 'wow you really havent been dieting have you?' (talk about making me feel good!!!)
ITS ONLY BEEN FOUR HOURS AND I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS FOR ANOTHER MONTH AND 1/2!!!! WHATS NEXT!??!?!??!!?

I feel your pain sweetheart. My mom has made it clear to me that she wishes I wasn't wearing a strapless dress (I'm not exactly skinny). Our mom's love us despite their extremely rude and unbelievably unsupportive remarks.

This is horrible- Remember I have learned that every time someone says something that hurts you, it is their pain that is showing. Even moms...sad but they get jealous too.

My MOH's mom is like that. She's a nice, but ditzy, woman and has no idea how inappropriate she is sometimes. She's super skinny and my girlfriend has suffered with weight problems her entire life. I've lost count how many times her mother has said, 'Wow, I just can't seem to gain any weight' right in front of her daughter and my friend is dangerously overweight:

shes outta control!!! i cant even keep track of her comments anymore!! everything i do is 'not right'. shes driving me up a walllllllllllll
