Apparently my shower invitation came in the mail two days ago and my mom has asked me no less than 10 times if i want to see it. She said her friend called her up from home today to tell her how PERFECT it is for me & everything. I told her my MOH would KILL her for offering...and she won't stop. Even just a minute ago - for the 9th time - she asked, do you want to see it?
I was at my MOH's house the day they arrived & she was soooo excited - showed her hubby, showed my FH, but wouldn't even let me in the room they were in... My mom is making me crazy!!!!

100% YES she would. I honestly expect to walk into the bathroom and she'll have it sitting there so i have no choice but to see it. She said it's the PERFECT invite for me and my style..she even said the return address label for my MOH is perfect.
It's just bothersome because i'm not good with surprises - i hate them and i'm trying soooooooo hard to be a good bride because my MOH is being so adorable about surprising me and my mom isn't helping!!!

same here I am horrible with surprises. They make me so uncomfortable. Does she know how you feel?

Yep - i've told her LITERALLY 7 times now to cut it out...she just keeps asking..
I'm going to have to be medicated that day anyway - i'm not good with people looking at me and stuff...so i'm sorta dreading it.. I do NOT LIKE ATTENTION...so she's just making me feel more jumpy about it... VERY frustrating...
I know - it's cute that she's so excited...but God help me...

awww- i bet shes just really excited. Just tell her you want to be surprised and for the umteenth time NO- you don't want to see the invite.
ETA--ooohh_ I just thought- maybe the invite she wants to show you is a 'fake' and she trying to throw you off..hhhmmmmm

No - they're real. I was at my MOH's house when they arrived after she ordered them so it would make sense that she sent them earlier this week. Also - she showed FH & he said they're nice. The ONLY thing I asked is if it was next month & he said no...so i have time to get myself ready. I truly think i'm going to call the doc on Monday and get a referral for a therapist.
