Mommies who have everything - Need help with a gift idea please!

My neighbor has been SO good to me. Unfortunately, I missed her baby shower because I was on my HM. I have yet to send her a gift and I really want to get her something but I don't know what to get or how to find out what she already has.

I checked her registry and everything is GONE. I tried dropping hints around her and her husband for anything they might need and I always get 'oh we have everything we need'...

What can I get her?! The baby is almost 3 months old now.

I noticed that she didn't have a Snugli on her baby registry - what do you think if I get her that? How can I find out if she already has one without giving it away? Should I get her something else?

I would get her a gift card to babies R us, this way she can buy whatever she needs/wants, whether its a toy or diapers or wipes, I loved when people gave me one of those, of course then I went and spent like 40.00 more than whatever the card was for though

That's not a bad idea, but I'd also like to get her something to go with it...I just don't know what! I just found out they DO have a Snugli/Baby Bjorn.

I think a gift card and an outfit would be very appreciated. I would suggest you buy an outfit for future months (even up to 12 months would be great).

If you don't feel comfortable getting a gift card you could go with a 6 month plus toy.

for my sisters baby since it was her second and had everything already she has been getting baby outfits, and gift cards from everyone, and loves it

I love that snugli!!

I wear it around the house this way I can keep Baby John with me and still clean and do what I have to do.

I think your neighbor would love it

IMO If the snugli wasn't on her registry I wouldn't get it for her. Snugli's really aren't for everyone.
When my son was a few months old their were alot of my MIL's neighbors who sent gifts. Most of them sent really cute outfits, one gave a gift card, and the one I loved the most was when one of them brought over 2 huge cases of pampers from BJ's!!! ( She called my MIL ahead and asked what size the baby wore.) If the baby is formula fed you can also do this with the formula they use. Someone for my babyshower bought me like 6 cases of baby formula b/c there was nothing left on my registry and she wanted to know that her gift would actually be used!

How about a certificate to have professional pics done? I think Kiddie Kandids has them, or Picture People, or JC Penney, Sears,

How about a basket of summer-related things? Chances are, if baby was born 3 months ago, summer stuff was not really out yet..

You could get baby sunblocks, one of those baby floatie tubs, towel, bathing suit cover up, bathing suit, shovel & pail, swim diapers..

I agree with the pictures gift certificate. You can buy a really cute frame to go along with it. Very thoughtful of you!

I would go with a few outfits maybe a bathing suite since summer is coming and a gift card I loved the gift cards always loved buying things for my little one. You can also get formula cuz that is a little pricey and it helps if they don't have to buy it also diapers.

I wouldn't go for the snugli not everyone likes them I thought I would and I had put it on my registry I used it once and hated it so it jsut sits in the closet

I like the diaper/wipe idea. I sent a bunch to my bestfriend after her 2nd baby. She said it was the best gift she got! I ordered them online at CVS.com
