Congrats to your sister!!! I had all day sickness, until about 6 months. I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Re: Moms
Everyone is different. Some woman don't even go through morning sickness.
The no period is your first sign.
I just had a feeling. My body felt different in a way that I can't describe.
I had an 'upset stomach' for a while. Nothing was working. (I drank SO much Ginger-Ale) In the back of my mind I kept saying 'I know I'm pregnant'
Tell your sister to buy a test!!

Re: Moms
I felt just plain lousy for weeks and couldn't figure out why -> I wasn't even late yet! Then, by the time I was actually late, I started feeling nauseous, especially when I was hungry

Re: Moms
I only got that sick-feeling a few times, and mostly on the LIRR. I never got really, really sick. Oh, one time someone heated up left over FISH in the microwave for lunch and I thought I would get sick, but I didn't. That was when I was maybe 4-5 weeks. Everyone is different though.

Re: Moms
Claud, I had the same thing with my previous pregnancy, not as much now. When I was STARVING, Id start coughing/ gagging because I was so hungry. Weird !
Now, I eat/drink things, that Im in the mood for (lets say OJ) and then 5min later, Im grossed out by having just had it A few weeks ago the OJ came right back up, and I really wanted it

Re: Moms
I wasn't sick until around 10 weeks. And then it was 'night sickness' - started at around 6:00 pm....

Re: Moms
I used to eat crackers ALL the way home from my office in the Village on the train, then on the bus, then in the car (It used to take me almost 2 hours to get home) I'd sit their praying I wouldn't get sick. I carried a platic bag w/ me 'Just in Case'
My first sign was I had a wedding to go to in NJ & I was running around like a mad woman. I was just about to leave & I got the heaves. I had NO CLUE I was pregnant. I just thought my body was telling me to relax.

Re: Moms
I didn't get any morning sickness. I got nauseous if I didn't eat on time. Once I figured out when I needed to eat, I was okay.
