Mom's boyfriend

passed over the weekend.

I feel terrible for her. And I can't be there at the house tonight cause of school and work. I did go last night, but still.

Just thought I'd update.

Thanks ladies.

My mom is devastated, really. And her boyfriend's brothers and sisters have been fantastic, welcoming her right into the family, they've all been friends for so long now, but his 'ex-wife' and fam (their kids and spouses) have been giving her sucha hard time, telling the borthers and sisters my mom and I and my brothers and sisters and her friends didn't belong at the house during shivah... it' s not even their house!! It was where boyfriend lived with his Dad!! I don't understand people!

My parents are separated too and if God forbid,something happened to my Dad, my mom wouldn't keep his girlfriend away from him, and as his daughter, even if she wanted to be a ***** I wouldn't let her cause that would hurt HIM! What's WRONG with people???? YOU'RE NOT MARRIED ANYMORE. YOU LEFT!!!

I just feel so bad for her.... and I don't know what to say or do about it. I'm convinced I'm gonna get a call at work today telling me I need to bail my sister out of jail cause she's raving mad about the whole thing.

Anyway, thanks for listening, and for the hugs and condolences, I really appreciate it!!

I am so sorry to hear that Arrange alot of mother daughter dates...if your mom is like mine she will never ask since she doesn't 'want to be a bother.'

Maybe sleepover a few nights when your schedule clears up to keep her company?

LOL, my mom's not the type to be shy about what she wants, but I did plan on spending time with her to help her not feel as lonely. I'm cooking dinner next weekend for her and my brothers and sister. Her birthday is this week, too
