Moms can be so, um, er, loving?

I went down to my parents last night, and we're sitting in the living room. We weren't even talking about the wedding, and all the sudden my Mom goes 'You think you might want to get cortizon shots, like my cousin Steven, for the wedding.' Meaning she thinks I have horrible acne. I mean I get a few pimples here and there, but her cousin had like terrible acne. So I was like 'Um, do you really think my face is that bad?' and she was like 'Well it was just a suggestion' and then goes on to tell me how she used this stuff to whiten her teeth and my FH and I should use it. As if that wasn't bad enough, then she walks into the kitchen and is like 'What the hell is that ugly thing?' about my new handbag.

that's something my sister does to me, lol but sometimes i like it cuz i know she's the only one who'll tell me the truth.

my sister too!!! but atleast she's not lying to me telling me it looks good...

Yeah thats typical mom talk! My mom is notorious for that, at least your her daughter, my mom goes to complete strangers and says stuff like that!

well my mom basically told me to go on a diet lol im eating and shes like um ehem do u really want to eat that?? im like YES lol after the holidays i start my diet, geesh

Lol. My mom was telling me how much weight i gained the other day! It was great! Then she went on about how much weight my sister gained. So sweet!
