After reading Sunset Renee's post on Mom, I'm curious, and thought I'd take a poll, and see just how many Moms are/are not excited about the wedding. Mary MOB

Hey Mary! How do you feel about your daughter's wedding? Just curious...I have been so upset about this for quite some time now - almost a year. I would like to hear your point of view.

I dont doubt my mom is excited for me...
I just feel that she isnt..
She is planning her own wedding for this sept. so thats all she is occupied with... It kinda suckks cos I always envisioned my mother being super excited for me and helping me with my wedding... And its not the way it worked out....

My mom is excited! Right now she's focusing on getting better then she can go look for MOB dresses! She won't be allowed out of the house for a few more months, but I think that's perfect time to start looking!

I don't know if my mom is excited anymore. I think the stress of my parents paying for mostly everything is outweighing the happiness sometimes I wish we would have just gone away and done something really low key like a small destination wedding

My Mom is excited in her own way. She is the type of person who shows emotion, but is not overly emotional (if that makes sense). She adores FH as does my Dad. They have a much closer bond w/ him than I do w/ FIL's. That is a direct result of FIL's chosing and not my own. Even w/ my Mom's super busy schedule she makes time to be involved in wedding activites. She is always asking my about plans and my projects. I think we have become closer since I got engaged. It has been nice

My Mom is NOT excited. Every little thing I mention about the wedding is a big deal to her. For example, when we went to look at the hall. Granted it was far in advance, but I was excited to look. She gave me a hard time about going. This weekend I made an appointment to look at dresses and she is giving me a hard time about that asking why do we always have to do thing on my time schedule, HELLO she told me what time to make the appointment, and how much longer can I wait before I go try on dresses!
