mom's hair?

my mom's hair is chin-shoulder length and very thin. my aunt convinced her to buy a hair piece. both of us have no clue what to do with it. the hair person i am thinking of using said she works with hair pieces all the time no problem. but my mom feels updos are either too old fashioned or too young looking. how are ur mom's doing their hair? any pictures?
