Moms - how well are you prepared for pediatrician visits?
I thought that the new Moms and Moms-to-Be would appreciate a tip on getting ready for pediatrician visits. I learned very early on to be prepared with a list of questions for the doctor, and a list of responses to the doctor's questions for me.
It is very easy (with a small, crying or squirming infant) to get distracted in the pediatrician's office. But, you time with the doc is NO TIME to be distracted from asking important questions that you need answers to, in order to care for your child.
My favorite site, BabyCenter, supplies a wellness visit worksheet for each doctor visit to help Moms and Dads collect their thoughts, questions and answers about baby's development.
