I am EXTREMELY bloated/puffy in the belly area and even though AF is due next week...I'm not sure she's coming.
Did any of you experience this 'fat' feeling before you took the HPT or missed AF? And could this fat feeling be as early as 2 weeks before AF was due???

really? don't they have those really sensitive ones that you can take like the morning after conception? p.s. keep in mind that the mind is a very powerful thing...it can convince your body of ANYthing.

Could it be one of the side effects from coming off the pill?

When I came off the pill, I might as well have been 10 lbs heavier from all the bloating and cramps. The pill (hormones) does funny things to your body!

Hey, I have a question... Does/can the pill make you gain weight or retain water?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you really need to calm down. All this worrying is going to do a number on your body and screw up your ovulation cycle. Moreover, if you are pregnant, this stress is not good for the baby.

The first month I went off the pill I had soo much bloating around a week or 2 before AF was due I looked like I was 5 months pregnant-AF was also late for me that month but it was all just side effects of coming off the hormones.

Yes you really need to calm down. All of this worrying is not healthy. Could be you are just not used to getting AF while off the pill. Dont worry.

If you are really anxious to find out, your doctor can perform a test as early as 10 days after conception. They're not always accurate but it may ease your mind a little!

I know everybody's body is different but I remember NOT feeling like I usually did when I was pregnant. I didn't have the usual bloating, mood swing, PMS symptoms that I usually get before AF. I mostly felt REALLY tired and had sore breasts. When I took the test it came up positive.
Hang in there for another week and take the test when/if you miss your AF. I agree with the other ladies, no sense stressing yourself out.

I took a HPT 2 weeks after conception and it was positive. Take a test, call your doctor, but as hard as it sounds you have to relax... Worrying like this will not make it come any sooner. Everything will be ok. Good luck! Yes, you can gain/retain water-weight when you go on and off the pill.
