Good morning ladies!! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I’m excited to be BTOW this week- thanks again Linda for picking me!!
Soooo…for my first QOTD- it’s all about nick names/pet names!...one of my coworkers asked me right as I walked in the door this morning what my nickname was (not sure why)---so I thought that might be a good question to as everyone? What do you friends/family call you if it’s not your name? Does FH have a different nickname/pet name for you then your friends do!?...c’mon girls- don’t be shy!!!
My friends don’t have a nickname for me- they usually call me Megan or Meg…my fam calls me Meggy sometimes- and FH- we have pet names for each other that I can’t for the life of me remember where the heck they came from- I call FH Pocky and he calls me Nilla (he’s says its bc I’m so pale-like vanilla)---we only call each other that, like I never call him by his first name-it’s weird if we use our real names

Not sure if this is where it comes from but FH loves this kind of Pocky! Maybe you could serve some at the wedding, even if its not where it really came from.
Lots of nicknames. Most my friends call me Barb. A few call me Barbie (which I hate!!), or Barbs. One of my friends calls me Arabrab (since that's my name backwards). My nickname in my sorority is Petrie. My FH calls me baby (so original I know). My new nickname is now BB, since those will be my new initials.

I don't really have any creative nick names, My family just calls me Kell....when I younger and now evey once in a while They will call me Kell-Bell.
FH and I don't really have pet names for each other, his name is CJ so I just call him C most of the time.
Not very exciting, Sorry!!! LOL

all my friends call me Alex or Al, blondie, or my last name
FH and I pretty much call each other babe..we never call each other by our first name's either and when we do it's usually for something serious or to get the other person's attention lol

So funny .. one of my nicknames is Nilla too! :) I have a few others .. Ant, Vanilla, Nutella .. FH and his family and kids call me Bella
but we usually just call each other baby or babe .. it's feels/sounds so weird when we say each other's real name!

One of my friends calls me Loralee, someone else calls me Loo-Loo (she just had a baby, so I'm thinking I may have to be auntie loo-loo, hah), my dad calls me Laurie-Doo.
FH has 6 zillion nicknames for me. He also likes to combine them all, so I never know what he wants to call me, haha. The original nickname is Tushy, and since then he's added Tushy-Pants, Pants, Monkeys, Loves.....usually he just adds whatever he wants to Tushy, haha. He never calls me Laurie unless he's angry. Even if we're around people he'll call me Lau.

Everyone just calls me Kat; family, friends, and at work. For the most part FH and I call eachother the usual Hun and Babe like every other couple. Our pet names ended up being spanish (he's PR), he calls me Loca and I call him Chuletta. Chuletta was like the 1st Spanish word he taught me and I kept calling him that.

My friends and family either call me Stephanie, Steph or Stephy (very few people can call me Stephy and get away with it)
FH has a billion nicknames for me but the most common are babe, baby, lil pump (like pumpkin), lil boo or LB (short for lil boo).

my family's nickname for me is 'JenJen', which is the same formula used for my sister's nicknames as well. I love when they use it, it makes me all warm and fuzzy.
FH picked up on using that too and now so has my FBIL and FSIL. Makes me feel even moreso like a family with them.

I do not have really have a nickname.
FH and I call each other bum. Not really sure how that started.
Sometimes I call him banana. Again, no clue how that started!

nickname I'm called by family/friends sometimes .. coqueta. lol .. I used to be a big flirt back in the day so coqueta means flirt in spanish.
FH and I call eachother Honey all the time. But once upon a time I used to call him umpa lumpa and he used to call me Bambi (He said my eyes were shaped like bambi's eyes lmao)

My godmother on my dad's side call me Pastina (it was my favorite pasta when I was a kid) and kind of rhymes with Christina .. (all of my cousins have a rhyming nickname) :) My uncle to this day still calls me Christine and calls my sister Maria even though our names are Christina and Marie….
My godfather on my mom's side is the only one that can get away with calling me Chrissy.
In high school I was called by my last name (was in JROTC). Every so often someone calls me by it and it brings me back to those times.
FH and I rarely call each other by name. I call him love or hun but when I do call him by name, I call him Jimmy not James or Jim.

My friend's don't really have a nickname for me other than 'Liss' or 'Meliss.' In HS (when I played soccer), I was usually called by my last name since there were 2 other Melissa's on the team.
FH usually calls me 'mush' since I'm a big sappy mush when it comes to him...lol I don't really have any nicknames for him other than babe or Philly (his name is Phil).

my cousins call me Lee or Weesa instead of Lisa. FH has no pet names for me, we are so not that mushy gushy couple. I call him weird versions of his name, like I will say Todd with a weird accent to annoy him but we laugh about it lol

My friends all call me by my name. Sometimes they will say x-tina. Random nicknames will come out but it usually lasts for a day. FH calls me pookies.

I get Linda Rose from some family. Lin from close friends. Lin-Lin from an even smaller group of friends.
All of FH's family calls him Jamie. I occasionally do but prefer James.
