MONDAY QOTD
What is or do you think will be the most exciting vendor to book for your wedding & why?
I hate to say - for us it was ALL of them:
- I was so excited when we secured our amazing band - THE NAKED TRUTH for our wedding b/c this was the wedding band DH used to play w/ years ago b4 he joined the NYSP - our dance floor was not empty even once!
- Our Limo company & booking the Rolls Royce for me & hubby,
Flowers & having such a wonderful exp w/ Flowers By Burton who made sure every CP had a little bit of snapdragons which was a sentimental flower between me & my Grandma (in heaven since 1998) & my bouquet - I cried it was even more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed it to be
-booking our photo/video w/ Patken - we had looked @ 3 others but Patken was the 1st we met with - I knew just by watching their video & the fact that it made me well up - I knew they were the ones for us - our photographer Evan was amazing & Andy our videographer was so great - we hardly knew hew was there!,
-booking our DOC - Gina Griffin of Bleu Diamond Events - she really helped us take all our details & bring them to life!
-makeup by AnnMarie - she has been doing private work for years w/Mac cosmetics & she grew up across the street from my Nana - she did my makeup for my best friends wedding 8 years ago & I knew when it was my time I wanted NO one else but her - I was sooo excited to have her as part of my special day
-hair- coloring & styling by Aura Salon in Bellmore - this was actually a month b4 booking as I had tried w/ 3 other vendors who fell through. Chris the owner is close personal friend of my brother & did me a HUGE solid by helping me out for my special day - Chris did an amazing job w/my color & his wife Marie did such an awesome job with the day of style - I couldnt have been happier!
-our uplighting by Prestige Events - Glen gave us exactly what we were looking for & our monogram/gobo was so fantastic - I am so glad to have worked with him!
& lastly but I also guess most imoprtant - booking our venue Chateau La Mer - every step of the way from start to finish & even afterwards I have never been so impressed with such courtesy & professionalism. The yacht/boat arrival was honestly such a rush & our guests are still talking about it, not to mention the FOOD - how much they gave us & how INCREDIBLE it all tasted...our viennese hour was something I have never seen before! A huge TY to Nick our Maitre D & Manager & our bridal attendant Jessica who was FABULOUS!
