My first question stems from this windy, gloomy & SNOWY weather I woke up to this morning.
** What would you do if you woke up on your wedding day, and it was a day like today? Your photographers says to you there is no way you would be able to take any outdoor photos. Do you have a backup plan? **
-I originally planned on taking my pictures at Hecksher Park in my parent's hometown of East Islip, but they don't offer a wide variety of indoor locations if by chance its nasty outside. FH and I looked around and decided to use the Bayard Cutting Arboretum instead. They have the big mansion we can take pictures in. And luckily its only about 2 mintues away from my parents home.

I have no backup plan as of yet! I should look into a local library or something fun nearby. Is monster mini golf open that early? Lol
I also have umbrella and rainboots pics for me and my moh on my must take list if it does rain.

Your photographers says to you there is no way you would be able to take any outdoor photos. Do you have a backup plan? I am researching backup plans for indoor locations along the route to the RH but haven't found anything yet. But there will definitely be a backup plan for it.

our wedding is on a friday so we have full reign of the RH. we would definitely be utilizing this and possibly have another back up as well...

Yikes- I don't and I have no idea how! I guess we could go to the Vandebilt Mansion and beg them to just take our site fee on the spot?
I will probably invest in a few cute umbrellas and rain boots for cute pics!

Ugh, if it's snowing late June I would be horrified! LOL
But if it's cold and rainy I will be sad. I've always wanted to take wedding photos on the harbor in my town and on the golf course at my hall. I need a backup plan or I'm in big trouble.

I don't have to worry about snow for my day...but I am in the peak of hurricane season :( I think I rather have snow, but thats just me!!
I would have to just suck it up and enjoy it anyway! if there is one thing you can't control about your wedding day its the weather!! Besides, half the day you are inside! <3

Wow you read my mind.. Well i GUESS you just make it work!! I have no backup plan as of now.. I figure prob just pics inside my parents house, at the hall and inside the church.. but its 11/11/11 the most spiritual day of the year sooo god better be on my side that day!!!

also my hall has alot of places to take pictures outside by the columns and its covered so worse comes to worse.. oh and as soon as you pull up the whole way it is covered as soon as you get out of the car.. I knew i picked that place for a reason!!!

That's right by my house kristen (the arboretum!)
anyway - I am looking into backup plans... haven't found anything yet - the church is in deer park and the reception is in lindenhurst - so i dont wanna go too far out of the way - its hard trying to find something indoors!
my photog keeps telling me there is no way it is goign to rain though... haha

No back-up plan yet, but we plan on having one. We actually don't even have a plan for where we currently want to take the pictures if it is outdoors. I figured it will get easily figured out, right?

Since I'm getting married in February I would hope it would be nice snow and now like today... But if it was the case, our RH is gorgeous, so I'm sure we would still get amazing pictures!!!

Well it's beautiful and sunny where I am, so I hope it's like this. But FH and I have awful luck and every time we go to 'Sunny' San Diego it rains (no lie). Our wedding is on the beach. So if it rains it will be awful. We have a back up plan sort of, we would have to move the ceremony into the restaurant. It wouldn't be the same though. So we're just that it's nice.

I don't really have a back up plan. I think I'm going to buy some really cute umbrellas and rainboots just in case so we can do some pics outside. Then I'd just take the rest inside the church and rh. Lets that it's GORGEOUS out!

I woudl feel sad... But i cant go agains what Mother Nature & God wants.. So i will not complain...

I'm still trying to find a place that has indoor locations out east.
I do need a plan...but fortunetly I only have to worry about rain in August.

Id tell the photographer get ur umbrella and coat cause we R taking pics out there too hahahaha! Other than that Id do a bunch inside I guess
