There is a saying somewhere that say guys go for women who remind them of their mothers. Do you think this applies to you? Are you at all like your FMIL or for the married women your MIL?
*MY ANSWER* For the most part I am not like my mil. She isn't the warmest person when it comes to animals and she loves her grandkids and children but she isn't that mushy type she is more of the ill cook and clean but thats it My FiL is the one who is with the kids rolling on the floor making it fun.
The similarities are we are both Virgos born in Sept. We are both very analytical and sometimes can be critical. We both love to cook and care for our families.

Nope! We are absolutely NOTHING alike....although I love her to pieces we're basically opposites. She runs around without her head attached, loves to work outside, loves country music and western movies, hates to cook...NOPE, nothing similar! My FH says that she riles him up while I calm him down. Then again, I don't know where my FH comes from either because he's nothing like anyone in his family!!

In a lot of ways I am a lot like my FMIL....we're both pretty klutzy (tripping over our own feet, falling up stairs, smashing our heads into things!) and we can both be chatty. FFIL always shakes his head when I do (or sometimes say) something silly and says 'you are so much like my wife'
Since I love my FMIL I don't mind the comparisons at all and we are different in ways too, of course. I would say FH is marrying someone who has a lot of the same similarities as his mom!

lol in some ways yes i am like fmil. we are both vey sweet, caring, take the **** off our backs for othe people. BUT i will not drive my kids insane even when theyre adults. Especially if theyve proven time and time again that they'e very capable, independent people! lol
I do love to cook and have people over. and one thing we def share is we both make friends easily! Fh warned me to stop talking to people when we got engaged because of the friend list for the wedding! lmao. I just can't help it, I naturally attract people! hehe

She is a typical white picket fence housewife that never argues w her husband, always dresses the part, has dinner on the table, cooks breakfast lunch and dinner....

Ummmm holy crap this is good question but hard to answer.
She's very caring and worries a lot about her family and always wants to make everything better. But I can kinda stop right there. She's not mushy at all. You cant ever expect a hug or an unexpected kiss from.
I learned a lot of cooking thanks to her so he loves the way I cook.
I'm more family oriented than she is.

I don't think we are alike at all. We get along really well, and I love her to death, but I think we are pretty different. The one thing I do think we have in common is that we both try to be really easy going. She is so easy to get along with - I am so lucky to have her and not a monster in law!
