I forgot to share with you girls! I went out to lunch this past Monday and I saw there was a bridal party taking pictures at a gazebo area near where I work.. and i thought it was interesting because it was a Monday! Has anyone ever been to a wedding during the week Mon-Wed?

My best friend got married on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving...sent out STD's a year in advance so people would know. It allowed her and her DH to have the wedding of their dreams at a way lower budget. And while some people b!tched about it, really, the night before Thanksgiving is a huge party night AND she and her DH hosted a Thanksgiving dinner the night after for their immediate families + OOTers at a restaurant that everyone liked.

I've been to weddings on Thursdays and Mondays and I'm getting married on Memorial Day Monday. I have found that people will complain about various wedding dates (Fridays, Sundays, holiday weekends, too close to Christmas, etc). However, none of my family or friends complained about my wedding date and we got very few no responses. If people care about you they will sacrifice a bbq to come to your wedding.

I've never been to one. But IMO, its the same as a Fri or Sun wedding...people will either have work the same day or the next day.
