Good morning ladies! It's a series of questions involving gifts. I know that we all practice gift giving in different ways and I'm a sucker for those 'Ohhhh how sweet' stories. So let's hear them!

Other than your engagement ring, what's your favorite gift FH has ever given you? And why?

What's your favorite gift you've ever given him? and why?

What if anything are you thinking about getting FH as a wedding gift and if you could have him get you anything as a gift what would it be?

Hmm its so hard to pick one,

But I'll say its a gold dolphin ring w a sapphire eye that fh bought when we first started dating. He already had a trip to Greece booked and he came home 2 weeks early and gave me the ring...it was soooo romantic!

hmmmm ok. the best gift I received from my FH is my doggie Penny the boxer, she is soooo sweet and funny. I love her.

The best gift I think ive give FH is sony playstation....he's obsessed with this game...but i could be wrong.

The best gift i ever got from FH is a heart pendant that has our pictures in it.

The best gift i ever got him would probably be video games since that is the only thing he truly loves.

My favorite gift are diamond earrings he gave me for christmas last year. He gave me a bunch of presents that I loved and I thought that was it.. then when we were getting ready to go to his parents he was like 'these would look perfect with your outfit' and pulled out diamond earrings from his pocket. So cute. I never owned real diamond earrings before so I was thrilled.

My favorite gift I ever gave him was Sam Adams Utopias. If anyone knows my FH they know he loves beer and loves to brew beer. This is a $300 bottle of beer.. crazy of me to spend money on that but when he opened it it was priceless.. He was so freaking happy.

For a wedding present he wants a watch but im not sure if we are getting eachother presents yet.

FH gave me a scrap book once with all pictures and sayings and stickers from all the places we've traveled and different places we've gone to! it really was the cutest thing ever! he knows im a sap for the mushy stuff!! lol

best think i got him...well he said when i got him tickets to see movin out he said that was the best gift he ever got! (he loves billy joel)

he wants me to get him a playstation 3 for a wedding gift! lol (that might now be his new fav gift!!) lol
oh and he already got my wedding gift! its going to be the necklace i wear the day of!

My favorite gift he gave me was his 1st gift to me which was a diamond and sapphire ring for my bday/graduation I loved the time he took to find the perfect gift and I love blue.

My fav gift to him was a surprise graduation party followed by a surprise trip to mexico. I fooled him into thinking we were going to see my family for a week.

I think I might get him tickets to see the eagles play here. We havent seen them play in the stadium so I think that would be cool and I will try to get really good seats.

If I could get a gift from him it would be a princess cut diamond solitaire pendant to wear for the wedding.

The best present FH ever got me was my Francesco Biasi bag which he gave me for Chirstmas 2007. I wanted it for so long and I wanted it in red patent leather. He later told me that he had to go to 3 stores and finally special ordered it from Nordstroms because he could only find it in black. I loved that he went through all that trouble to get me the color I really wanted.

My favorite gift that I ever got him was his camera for his 40th birthday. He really wanted it but didn't expect it because he never thought I would have spent so much $$$ - he was so surprised by it.

I can't quote or edit on my phone....but I forgot to answer the second part.

The best gift I ever gave FH was I bought him Bowflex dumbells. HE LOOOOOVES them.

Best gift he got me - our puppy (Bailey - golden retriever).

Best gift I got him - his Breitling watch for his 40th birthday.

Want to get him a new digital camera and maybe also an underwater camera, as wedding presents

At the risk of sounding spoiled, the best thing FH got me was a new car. Yep. He was at the end of his lease and shopping for HIS new car and bought me mine first. He has given me many other beautiful things but I think that one takes the cake!

My favorite thing I have ever given FH would probably be his Kindle. He's an avid reader and uses it all the time.

If I could get FH anything it would be a lift and tires for his truck. I know he wants to do that like NOW but I'm not making the kind of money he does. I'm giving him Bpics, custom cufflinks, and Mets tix :)

Good question.

It's silly but my favorite gift from my FH was my kitchen aid hand held mixer. I love baking and that year it was the only thing I wanted. He convinced me he hadn't gotten it, then pulled it out of nowhere. I actually cried when I got it.

For him is a hard one. I love trying to surprise him and really get something he wants but would never think I'd get him. I'd have to say it was the Kanye West tickets I got for him for the first birthday we were together as a couple. He was playing at the Garden and I didn't want him to know that's what were going to so I told him I needed to pick up Ranger tickets for my dad before we went to dinner in the city. When we got to the Garden I told him the real reason we were there. I think he was pretty shocked.

For his wedding gift he has a friend who is an amazing painter. He does these risque woman paintings. I'm having him do a tasteful (not nude) painting of myself. I think my FH will be shocked.

I honestly don't want him to get me anything. He can buy me something in Paris!!!

I don't think you sound spoiled and if that's the truth then who cares how you sound! Plus, that's really sweet for him to buy you a car before himself!
FH bought me a car as an engagement gift. I had been shopping for new cars, and he offered that I could have either one of his two cars, a Honda Civic which is his commuter car and a Dodge Ram which is his toy but I'd always owned used cars and I really wanted to buy myself a new one. I left my job shortly after and couldn't have financed a car and he ended up buying me a new car as an engagement gift. It's a 2009 Nissan Rogue. I remember the first day that I drove it on my own, it was raining and I sent him a text message saying 'Thank you so much, I feel sooo safe' and he wrote back 'I feel better knowing you're safe and how happy it makes you'

FH got me my own Harley Davidson. I was always riding on back of his bike & I loved it. When I said I wanted to learn how to ride he got me a bike. Now we ride all over together. My bike is by far my favorite gift.

FH always wanted a small speed boat. I don't know much about boats.With the help of some of his friends I got him an 18 foot Hydrostream. I suprised him on his birthday with it. I had his friend call him to invite us out for a day on his new boat. When we got there FH said 'This is just the boat I always wanted' The look on his face was too cool when I told him Happy Birthday the boat is your's.

As far as wedding gifts for eachother, we opted out.

I guess I should answer my own question but FH has been hanging over my shoulder all morning.

My favorite gift? It's so tough because he isn't big into gifts but I think it's these two stuffed hippos. Now I collect hippos but when we first started dating he went to Atlantic City for a few days with his family and I was invited but I didn't go. Apparently he had it in his head that he was going to bring me back a hippo 'for taking in his mail' and he bought me this ugly little caesars bear because he couldn't find a hippo. And according to everyone he didn't shut up about me the entire time and he dragged evryone all over AC looking for a dam n hippo. Then he found one, then he decided he didn't like it so he found another one. Then he didn't want to give me 3 stuffed animals because he didn't want me to know how much he liked it. I loved the hippo he gave me and she lived in my car. About 2 months ago his mom mentioned the hippos and was telling me the story from her point of view and I mentioned it to him and he was like 'yeah the other one is in my trunk' and he went and got it out of the car, it was still in a bag from this gift shop!!! But I those hippos the most.

My favorite thing I've ever given him was the Movado watch I got him as an e-gift. He's a music teacher and he conducts a lot and I wanted to get him something classy and nice that he could also wear at the wedding. Although he says the nicest thing anyone has ever done for him was the surprise bday party I recently threw him.

For a wedding gift, I'm giving him a book of bpics and a journal that I've kept since we got engaged. I haven't been as regular with it as I'd like but it's still special. I bought his wedding band also but hey he bought mine too.

For a wedding gift, I don't think he's getting me anything. BUT if he was, I really want a new guitar, electric. I've been dropping hints all over the place but that doesn't mean a thing.
So babe if you're stalking...GUITAR.

best gift fh ever gave me was our first trip to disney..it was amazing!!!!!!

the best gift i ever gave him,the one that brought a sile to his fac the most is when i gave him 3 authentic autographed hockey pucks of 3 of his fav players...he collects the and one was really hard to find

The best gifts FH has ever gave me was a rosewood jewelry box that he had a black and white photo of us from Shelter Island put on to the tile on the lid, he set up the tripod so it was a real photo, not us holding the camera, and I was wearing a big floppy hat and we were kissing, it looks like a real vintage piece, no one would even know it was us. He also gave me a blurb photobook for our 3 year anniversary with narration of 'Ali and Alex, the First 3 Years', it was really cute. At the risk of also sounding spoiled, FH has given me a lot of jewelry and Coach bags and expensive dinners, but those were the best.

Best gift I ever gave him? I really don't know! I'm sure if you asked him he'd say something completely different, but I think it's the Greek National Team soccer jersey from the year they won the European Cup. He had really wanted it but could never find it, and I found a place in FL that had it.

For a wedding gift, I'm giving him a Tiffany money clip and having it engraved...I already had the clip, so really just the engraving. I highly doubt he's getting me anything...he really doesn't know that you're 'supposed' to. I certainly don't want to bring it up either.

That's EXACTLY what I said to FH the first time we drove together in my new car. I'd had a Honda coupe for a long time and I drive a LOT. I'd always hate getting on the LIE or going into the city because I'm petrified of tractor trailers! The new car I have is a fully loaded Ford Edge Limited and I am forever telling FH how safe I feel. I love that I'm so high off the ground and that it has a 5-star crash rating. FH knows that this will be my 'mommy' car, so it's for practical reasons, too! The Rogue is so nice, another car that I looked at that's similar is the Murano. In the end, the Edge won because FH traded in his Z4 to get a Ford F150 pickup, so we got a good deal on BOTH cars! we gave Northport Ford a lot of business this year

I looked at Edge's also, I loved them but Nissan had good financing options for us. And Honda CRV's which were my favorites until the sales person was a jerk to us. I went to Nissan to drive a Murano and then I tried the Rogue and it had pickup and was still fun and it wasn't quite a mommy minivan and then I found out there was actually more room in the back than in the bigger Murano and I love it (but the gas mileage isn't what I thought it would be!) Still, I was happy to have quit my job but sad I wouldn't be able to finance and he was such a doll!
