Money

Money

Is anyone else making themselves nuts over the money being spent? I cant seem to make decisions b/c I continue to pick things on the more expensive side...and then second guess myself. We love Imagine Studios...but feel like I should shop around. I love Heart & Soul...but think maybe I should reconsider a dj to save money. I did this with the RH too. I booked and almost backed out b/c another RH gave us a better place. I am seriously making myself insane!

i was doing this last night. I try not to think about it - it will all get paid somehow.

I am just trying to be sensible in the decisions I make.

I do agree that if you are worring about $ maybe you should get a DJ. All people care about is good music not whether or not you have a band or dj.

People tell me the same thing. We will have the money to and it makes us feel better that we are not touching our savings and are just paying out of pocket for it. I really want to have a big wedding so I don't let it get to me. If it really bothered me I would have just taken Fh to Vegas.

Re: Money

talk to past brides that used the vendors you are considering, that might help. also, try to research some cheaper alternatives and see if you would be happy with them or feel like you'd be settling for something you dont want.

then try to trust your decisions after they are made. its hard though, i doubt almost every big decision i make, wedding-wise and IRL

Yea everyone around you is going to have there opinions whether if be positive or negative. Its up to you which you want to listen to and which you want to avoid.. My sis (maid of honor) said that she wouldnt waste money on a wedding that would cost 10,000 . . so i dont know what she means by that.. is she saying im crazy for having a wedding.. i try to ignore it (i guess its just her personal preference)

very true! if i didnt care about the wedding or didnt want to spend the money...he would have eloped in a second. LOL. I guess I'll calm down and just try to make the best decisions.

Re: Money

I worry about money for the wedding all the time- saving enough money, paying for all the deposits for the RH. I want only the best vendors, but at the same time I want the best for my money.

I think its important to remember: You do get what you pay for. However, it is possible to get great vendors without spending $100,000.
