Do you actually walk around with it and collect the cards or do you leave it with someone and fill it throughout your hellos when people give you their cards?
My planner actually held mine, if she wouldnt have it would have gone to my dad or MIL/FIL to hold. Basically the planner came by every now and then and took the cards we had from us, I would say drop them off when it gets to be too much to carry and give the bag to someone you know will keep an eye on it
traditionally you leave the bag with someone. as you walk around you'll be given cards. every so often, walk back to the person w/ the bag and put them in.
I am not sure what we're going to do - I feel like if we leave it with someone, then that person has to carry it around wherever they go during the reception, no? They may not be thrilled about that so I need to think about who we'll give it to.
We are planning to take them as we go but.. we are using a card box instead, I have seen weddings where the bag fills up quick, and there is no room for any more.- then what? We have almost 240 invited.. I dont want to have someone hold it for me...
We are using a cardbox instead of a money bag. I just feel like I'd be stressing about where all the envelopes are all night. At least with a cardbox, we can just drop them in and that's where they will stay.
thanks girls I'm going to leave it with my Stepmother she doesn't dance and has breathing problems so i know she will stay wherever she is sitting
