i have been loading all our wedding expenses into an app that helps us track it. I'm starting to panic and get heart palpitations at the thought of the cost. Our wedding is about 13 months away and we are paying for a large chunk of it.
Does anyone else feel EXTREME PANIC?

I think anyone paying for it themselves feels the same way. I have been saving since May or so. Still have 13 months left!!!! THANK GOD. you'll make it work. Just stick to your budget and don't over extend yourselves. I feel it's better to book everything and you can always upgrade later.

Exactly. Figure out exactly how much you owe, divide it by how much you will need a week and it won't seem so bad. You can always upgrade when you have extra money.
I freaked and cried and sweated it out, doubled savings when the money was available. DOn't count on your tax returns or work bonuses, tehy will be a happy little perk when you get them instead of a neccesity. That money can be put towards upgrades.

I haven't started YET, but that's only because I haven't started to price everything yet. Until I have a set date I feel funny calling places. But we are trying to do this in 9 months so I know the panic will set in :)

ME AND MY FI ARE PAYING FOR MOST OF THE WEDDING OURSELVES. I FEEL VERY STRESSED BECAUSE THE DAY AFTER BOUGHT MY E-RING, HE GOT LAID OFF. OBVIOUSLY HE STILL PRESENTED ME WITH THE RING AND THE PLANNING BEGAN, BUT WITH ONLY 1 OF US WORKING, ITS A TREMENDOUS STRAIN. HE IS JOB-HUNTING EVERYDAY ,BUT THE MARKET IS SO BAD!!!! HOEPFULLY HE WILL FIND A JOB REAL SOON. SO I TOO FEEL INCREDIBLY STRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I panic about money all the time. We have so much money to save and only five months to go. I want to go out and get seven jobs just so I can get a paycheck every day.

I had the same symptoms this week. NOt so much the money, well, it's the money and everything else that comes with planning. Don't get me wrong, I love planning my wedding but, either something will happen, or someone will say something to set me off for the day or week. And PMS on top of that! Forget it, Im a wreck!

always feelin a bit stressed about the $$$!!! Only 7 Months to go and still some balances.... hope everything will be olkay since we r paying for the entire reception!!( at least family is helping with other vendors) On top of it all I have tuition too!!!! HELP

I felt incredibly stressed over the money situation when we first got engaged and first started saving. Now I just feel stressed when I add up all the numbers and see what this is actually costing.... just *slightly* more than I planned for...

Im stressed too..we are paying for all of it..and its hard. I get very stressed and I know my fiance does..we have actually saved ourselves alot because we overbudgeted, so when we book a vendor and we save we are thrilled. Its stressful though!!

We are paying for everything ourselves and have been saving for 3 months...we have 10 months to go!
I've been putting 95 % of my check away...it's TERRIBLE!!! I'm always BROKE!
But I know we'll be fine...just like you will be...remember why your doing this!
