This may be an obvious question, but what is the deal with monograms? Where and when are they used?

Re: monogram
You can use them on your invites, programs, favors, napkins, menus...really anywhere.

Re: monogram
Ok I knew that was gonna be an obvious answer. How do I go about making one? Is there a website?

Re: monogram
they do have design services but i don't know of one or you can look up local graphic designers that will work with you to design a few for you.
Or you can do it yourself. Best thing is to get as many fonts that you like and then go from there. I am a graphic designer so i use illustrator to design the monogram this way i can resize it and it will never distort.

Re: monogram
How do I start making the monogram. I tried to do it on word but it definitely was not working. I'm looking for something classy and modern

Take a look in my album and tell me if you like anything that I have. I'll also FM you with a very helpful post.

Re: monogram
In MS Word, you create a text box for each letter, name, or your date. Then format the letters as you desire. When you're done, click on all of the text boxes so they're all outlines, right click, and click group. Then put it in MS Paint or use SnagIt to save it as a JPeg. If you need anymore help, just FM me.
