I am looking for reasonably priced monogram cake toppers to decorate myself...most places I have found so far want around $20-$30 per letter, which would be ok if I was only using 1 letter, but I want to use 3, so that gets a bit expensive. The best price I have found so far seems to be from 'guy72830' on ebay...which would be $43 for all 3 letters. So has anyone seen a price that beats that? Thanks!

I purchased mine from him too, and I did extensive reserach and found no one cheaper.

ok thats what I thought...I've been searching for the past few weeks and still haven't found anything better. Just thought I'd check once more before I order

I checked the other seller on Ebay but he only has letters and no '&' which is what I want to put in the middle. And I thought about the wood letters and just painting them or something, but I am not sure if I want to do the whole thing in crystals or just partially, and I am afraid the wood wouldn't look too good if I only did it partially, know what I mean? Anyway thanks! And if anyone else knows of a place please let me know..otherwise I'll be ordering the set for $43 tomorrow.

I checked 'guy' out also, but I did not want the ampersand being bigger than our initials, so I opted to purchase mine in wood from WoodlandManufacturing.com
Lots of options for the fonts. I received tham and cannot be happier with my purchase.

What are you using to stick the letters into the cake? And did you get your letters already paintedor will you paint yourself. I am considering ordering them already painted in metallic silver but am just worried it will still look too much like wood?

I plan on using ice cream sticks. Who doesn't need an excuse to eat ice cream???
Someone else said they used tongue depressors.
I bought my letters unfinished. I just posted today asking what type of paint others have used. I'll have to bump the thread to see if I get any answers.
