okay.. i have a question on how a monogram goes. i ordered compact mirrors for my bridesmaids and the mongrams have the girls last name inital as the middle letter.
now, my FH ordered monogramed cuff links for the groomsmen and the intials read straight across.
is one right and the other wrong???!! i feel like the compacts dont look right!

It depends on the style. If the cuff links are block letters, they go in the order of first middle last. If the monogram is a diamond or fancy overlapping script, the last initial is the large one in the middle. If you go to someplace like LLBean's website and look at monogramming options, it will show you.
