Monograms

.... Are those of you using monograms purchasing them or making them yourself? If you're making them- can you explain how. And if you bought it, can you please share where. I'm trying to figure out monograms but I'm lost. Thankkkkkks

Also, are they just your first initial and FH's first initial and then first initial of FH last name?

the way i did mine...

in powerpoint - i made 3 separate text boxes for each initial...

I did HIS last initial - since it would be my new one...

First initials of each of ours.

i made mine with different fonts and colors until i found one i liked.... here the one i think i'm using

i tried making my own but i could never get it right so i ended up ordering a few! they were cheap enough that i figured i'd spare myself the frustration

i ordered them from aylee designs. her website is at this link. she was great to work with and very patient when i asked her to make a million changes!

I tried making them, but I can't get them to look right. I only have Powerpoint Office, so that's probably why lol You're supposed to use regular Powerpoint...right?

Very nice! I like both of yours a lot . I wasn't sure which program to use. I'm pretty good with PP. So, I am going to try to make it myself with PP today. If anyone has detailed instructions... please pass them my way!

My FH made it himself
It's our first name initials
I printed large letters for him, cut them out, and he traced them only thin metal. He then cut the letters, painted them in white and then in sparkles.
Then I added crystals (from arts & crafts store) onto the entire letter.
