It's not a stupid question. I didn't know what they were used for at first either. You can use them on all sorts of things. You can put the monogram on your programs, menus, place cards, table numbers, water bottle labels for OOT bags, welcome message on OOT bags, STDs, etc. I'm sure there are other uses, but these are the ones that come to my mind right now. I'm not going to use it for all of these things..but some of them.

I like 1 the best b/c it truly is a monogram b/c of the letters! The lettering and spacing is beautiful and balanced - and it creates a symbol with your initials that you could even use apart from your name & date where necessary.

Thanks so much! I love the spacing and the script letters. I think I spent the most time on this one so it is probably the most 'finished' monogram. Actually when I posted this I thought that #1 was going to be the fav. I'm really surprised that it received so few votes. Do you think it's okay that I don't have an S in the monogram (our last name initial)? I just used the initials from our first names.

I think so! It's just supposed to be a symbol created from initials...I think you can get away with it. It's so borderline-abstract, that I think it's just fine!

Wow! They all look so great! This may be a stupid question, but how did you make them? Is it a special program? Or did you just do it on word?

Thank you! I just did them in Word. However to make the letters overlap you need to use the text boxes (and remove the borders). You can also use special programs, such as Illustrator...but I feel as though for my purposes Word works just fine! If you have any other questions feel free to FM me!
