Yea i got to work half hour late and i only travel 20 mins if that normally. Roads were completely impassable in Farmingdale/Pinelawn area. Its really bad.

are you serious??? i have to look at the news...
I just got in to work. I had to do a U TURN on the clearview. I got on to the clearview and there were cars facing me and I'm like wow there must be a bad accident. Then I look ahead and there are no cars but water as far as the eye can see. The clearview is completely underwater. We all had to do u turns and cut people off just to get off the highway going in the wrong direction. Scariest **** I've ever seen. I'm traumatized

So far there's no rain outside over here in the sticks!!!
I hope everyone is safe and if you don't need to go out, STAY HOME!!! It just took me almost 2 hours to get to my office-- it usually takes 20 minutes.

We live in Queens and my FH drives to work and he said that all the streets were really bad along the Cross Island in Fort Totten.
I heard from some of my coworkers that cars on the LIE were getting flooded and some were even starting to float!!!!

I live right by there - EVERYTHING is a mess by me!
im in plainview and old country road is backed up for miles in each direction...
im glad im home today!
