Montauk in the winter

I am taking FH to the Montauk Manor for part of his christmas present. What is there to do during the winter? Any good recommendations for dinner and breakfast?? thanks!!

Alot of places close in the winter. IF it's open, I'd HIGHLY recommend The Harvest on Fort Pond for dinner. Johns Pancake House is a popular place fro breakfast.

Have a great time. I LOVE MONTAUK!!!!

OMG I am so jealous. My FH took me there when we first started dating and I was home from college break. We went the first week in jan (it was unseasonably warm too). We cooked together, talked, blah blah blah

Walked around and it was nice because you don't have the summer crowds. We brought our own wine, so we never left the room. Have breakfast at the pancake place (I think?) lot of locals, good food!

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love going there in the winter. I have been there two times in the winter (for Valentine's Day Weekend) and the last time (Feb. 2002) we got engaged there. For breakfast, you definately have to go to John's Pancake House. For dinner, the Oyster Pond, Shagwong's, Crow's Nest (where we got engaged), O'Murphy's Pub and Surfside Inn. Here is a website with all the retaurants and when they are opened http://www.montaukchamber.com/restaurants.asp
