Montauk Manor

Any feedback? Thinking of a mini-moon there right after the wedding......

Montuk Manor is beautiful - but be aware that it is not on the beach! It has views of the lake but you must drive to the beach. If you are going in the summer than I would recommend Gurney's Inn (I am getting married there :) or Montauk Yacht Club. There are tons of hotels /mtels in Montauk but be careful because many of them are dumps! I did my research on the whole area for my wedding so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

FH and I have stayed there a couple of times for Valentines day, anniversarys.etc.. I really liked it. It's not on the water though it's up on the a big hill. If you're going in aug. you might want to find a hotel on the beach in Montauk, although the rates would be alot higher and alot of the hotels have a three night minimum that time of year. I think we paid something like $100 for Valentines day. It's actually apartments with a bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It's really pretty and Montauk itself has alot to do. Let me know if you want more specific info.
