I was going to post that - my BIL told me about it last night. It's sick. I do not think it's real personally, but my mom thinks it's something from Plum Island - they do animal testing there. It looks like a cross between a dog and a bird of some sort. gross.

Animal testing is legal on Plum Island. It's regulated by the Government. It's a few miles off of the Twin Forks.

That is pretty freaky....even looks a bit like it broke away from something if you look at it's arm. I'll have to read more about it to guess my opinion if it's real or not... but YUCK! lol

The new pic looks like a dead dog. You can see it had hair once. The ocean does weird things to dead creatures but im sure if they brought this thing to a vet and examined the skeleton they would see what it was.

EDIT: in the new newsday pics look at he nose part of the skull thats peeking through.
