Montauk or Hampton Brides - accomodations for guests?

Hi,

For any of you that got married or are getting married in the Hampton/Montauk area, where are you putting your guests up? We are getting married at Gurney's next year and are desperately looking for reasonable accomodations for our guests. Everyone is charging a fortune and requiring a 2 night minimum. Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks!

My best friend always stays at the Oceanside Motel. The rooms are comfortable and the owers are friendly.

Hope this helps

we are having ours at atlantica, our event manager from there suggested renting houses (www.vrbo.com, www.vacationrentals.com) which we are definitely going to do, some of the houses are surprisingly extremely reasonable!
we are montauk frequenters, and any weekend including and after memorial day basically requires a minimum and their prices increase dramatically. (we have been going out there memorial day for the past 5 years) the born free is inexpensive (www.bornfreemotel.com), also if you look into the royal atlantic (www.royalatlantic.com) they also have rooms and large townhouses you can rent...
how about renting a bus for your guests to and from gurney's and block rooms at one of the riverhead hotels (best western, hilton garden inn- new out there- or holiday inn express)?
hope this helps!

My parents LOVE The Crows Nest and DH and myself love the Albatross. Both in Montauk.
