I've recently visited Montauk Yacht club and I think I want to have my wedding there. Has anyone been to a wedding there or had theirs there. How is the food? We are going to have it in the restaurant room, not the small conference room. Any feedback?

I don't know much about the Yacht club as a wedding site, but I visited it to have guests stay there for my Montauk wedding this August. It is regarded as one of the nicest places in Montauk. I got married at Gurney's, and even though it rained on me, and the wedding was not 'perfect' for a million reasons, it was the most magical day of my life, and I also spent a really wonderful week before the wedding out there. I highly recommend Montauk as a wedding locale overall. My guests were either local enough to drive, or took the opportunity to take a vacation and treated it as a 'destination.'
