I was out there last Spring for a weekend. A lot of work was being done in seasonal prep but it was beautiful. The people were lovely and very helpful. The food was great - not amazing. I wasnt there for a formal event so I'm curious to how the set up would be. The rooms were clean and there are also private cottage like homes on the property for large parties (didnt get to see inside them though). Overall I think it would be a beautiful place to have a late spring - summer or early fall wedding. Def. worth the drive to check out. We had a quiet weekend but thats what we were looking for. p.s. I mentioned seasonal prep which def was occurring but I do know that in April 2007 it was bought by a new owner for $34mil and he was planning on making further changes. I was there early May 2007 so there might be further upgrading thats been done that I never saw.
