For those of us taking public transit...let's list what time we're coming in and figure out where to meet, etc..
DavenJess will be taking NJ Transit and arriving at Penn Station at 7:51.

i'm right by the L train... so i'll switch to whichever train comes first and go from there..lol I'm only 20 minutes away.. so i can pretty much get in whenever you all want to meet

I have emailed my Sister In Law asking that question...she knows the subways VERY well..
Here is her reply - from Penn:
Take the E uptown to 50th - that will let you out on 8th Avenue. I think that stop is actually closer than the 53rd street stop which would let you out on 7th Avenue (but you'd have to also pass Broadway before getting to 8th).

On the 27th I'm taking the LIRR from either Hicksville or Carle Place depending on where i spend the night.
On thursday, FH and i are taking the LIRR from Carle Place

9/27 we r getting the 6:50 AM train out of hicksville most likely and getting to penn at 7:30 AM
