Frank was offered a job where he consults ,and today they told him unfortunatly they just dont have the capital to take him on, so our plans for a home have been put on hold, and I had to postpone going back to college.. when it rains it pours I guess

oh boy, i hear you... I posted last week about my husband losing a job offer in VA (the post is called Depressed - need to vent). He's been unemployed for a year and I was really looking forward to getting on with our life, as you are. It's rough out there, and I know just how you and your husband feel. I know my husband is beyond depressed, and feels guilty about putting us through this. It's hard enough making ends meet - but harder to keep his chin up.

The crazy part is there are SO many SMART people out there, including our husbands who just can't find work! Just remember, this is NOT forever and you have so much to look forward to in life. THis will make your marriage even stronger - you'll appreciate the good things even more when they do come. Hang in there, it'll happen!

BTW - what does your husband do? Mine is in technology...

Sara, frank is also in technology. and he has been unemployed since nov. but thank god for the consulting,. I hate to see him like this...Its rough out there right now i guess.. I told him to go to school in the meantime, cause at least that way he will feel like he is doing something with his time..
