MORE DIY PROJECTS COMPLETE W/PICS!!

Original post by MissusJones

I have been EXTREMELY busy over the past 4 days!!

1. I made the gifts for my daughter the flowergirl and her bestfriend the ring bearer...they will have special t-shirts that I made, plus their jewelry, pocketbooks that I made (keeping with the ideas i used for my bms), and a little craft project to keep them entertained.

2. Thanks to cmrka I made the placecards for the reception, since Stewart provided yucky green and white cards that just clashed with my overall LOOK of the reception.

3. Then I made the programs and the program basket.

Whew!

Opinions!

Good job! I know you've been busy, but if you weren't doing that, you'd be anticipating the wedding day too much. At least it makes the time go by!!!!

Well, thanks to Cmrka who i copied the idea from:

PLACECARDS
Got the Vellum from Michaels, and used regular white paper for the # sheets (you can use card stock too
I bought the thin ribbon with the wire in it and the ribbon hole punch @ Michael's too.
I divided each sheet evenly into 4 placecards. Using MS Word I printed the big numbers in purple on the regular paper and printed the names in black ink on the vellum (use the draft quality option for this part so very little ink is used which prevents smearing on the vellum).
Then you fold everything in half, put the 2 pages together, punch a hole in the top center, lace the ribbon through and tie the way you like it. It takes some practice to space & size things the way you want it.

Hope that helps!!
