more dress shopping

well i had a great day today.. we went to bridal suite of bayshore and they were wonderful there.. i would def. suggest going there!! they even put up with my crazy obsession for color in the bridesmaid dresses.. showed me every swatch and helped pick out the designers that carried them.. it was great. i'm getting a little frustrated cause i only have 2 out of 6 bridesmaids that have really been going with me to look and im being pretty easy going about it so far.. alls i want is the color.. they can pick any dress in that color as long as the styles compliment one another.. and everyone keeps saying they can go then backing out or not telling me when they can go.. arggg.. getting frustrating.. so at this point im just gonna continue to take the girls who want to go and pick something and tell everyone else to order it.. im tired of being too nice.. i get stepped on..and thats just the story of my life..if im gonna speak up and be stern my wedding is def. the time i should i guess..lol.
anyways..
i keep feeling like im never gonna get that feeling about a dress.. i'm more confused now than ever. I like so many different styles..and in my head i always wanted a big ballgown and i loved a few i tried on.. but then the drop waist style looks great on my figure and is really pretty too.. so im worrying that nothing is gonna pop out and say pick me... but i know something has to eventually. everyone has said that i'll know.. but i just don't know anymore.. i don't wanna regret my choice .. i liked the way a lot of them looked and how i felt .. but not one more than another really..
anyways.. we went to milk and sugar after shopping and had a great lunch. All in all it was a really productive day and i was happy we went. We're going to rk bridal monday to try on a few more bridesmaid dresses.. and hopefully some of the other girls can join us.. but if not we're just gonna narrow it down and they'll have to chose from what we pick. Sorry for the length.. i realize i started to vent a bit.. i should have warned everyone first..lmao.

Don't worry. You find find the one. And when you do you will know it I found my dress the first place I went. Sometimes I feel that I didn't try on enough drresses. You won't have to feel that. You know you really looked.

thanks ladies.. i know i'll feel it..i just feel like im too indecisive(sp) .. but they are all just soo pretty.. and once i think i like one i doubt it... so i wont get something im doubting already.
man i wish they let u take pictures.. that would make my life so much easier..lmao

update.. i have an appointment at macy's today .. so maybe i'll have more luck choosing something. and back to rk bridal tom. for the girls... it's a dress shopping weekend.. wooo hoo! lmao...

you sound exactly like me -- i was set on a particular bridesmaid dress color too. i also liked the idea of a big poofy ballgown but another style looked better on me.

you will find your dresses eventually!

thanks girls.. i just got back from my appointment at macy's and although the dresses were beautiful.. none of them hit home..
i do keep going back to this one dress though.. i've tried it on twice now.. i never got that feeling.. but i did kind of.. does that make sense? lol

it was also the very first dress i tried on though.. so i was hesitant.. so i'm going back to RK bridal with the girls tom to check out more BM dresses and make a final choice hopefully and i'm gonna try the dress on again...

yup.. rk was the first place i tried it on..
so tom. i'm gonna see if i def. wanna buy it.. it is really pretty in person.. the detail on it is great... the other place i saw it at.. which was actually a bit cheaper i think was bridal world in baldwin.. it's right near lillette's. They cap alterations at a better price too i think.

Don't worry about it. I had the same thing. Everyone but one girl could make it after weekd of trying to figure out a date and canceling a few, but I took her one night and showed her them then went back w/ everyone else and picked it. I mean everyone got to see it but I was at the point where I said sorry if u can't come. You'll deal with we pick.

yea.. that's kind of the point of gotten to. I felt like i was giving everyone a chance to pick thier own. I said same color ... complimenting styles..but they could wear whichever dress.. and of course id have final say.. but i was pretty much giving them free reign as long as it was in my color.. now im like if u dont come u'll wear whatever we decide on..lol.
if i wait for everyone .. i know what will happen.. the holidays will start.. no one will be available.. then by next year we'll be ordering it and the dress will be discontinued or something..cause that's my luck..lmao..

YEAH 350 FOR alterations is a lil rediculous at rkbridal....i love that dress though--its stunning!! would you recommend rkbridal for bridesmaid dresses too?

i don't know what thier alterations cost for bridesmaids.. but i think its a little pricey too.. we'll find out tom. we're going there cause they have the biggest selection... but if alterations cost to much for BMs then we'll find another place maybe.

I haven't officially bought it yet...but it's the one i keep going back to.. so i'm gonna try it on tom. for a 3rd time and see how i feel.. and more than likely i'll be signing on the dotted line..lmao
